Deviled Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin steak, 1 inch thick | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Snipped parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry sherry | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Brandy | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Catsup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sliced mushrooms | 1 4 Ounce, drained | |
Directions
Trim excess fat from meat.
Broil 3 inches from heat for 5 to 6 minutes on each side; steak will be rare.
In large skillet combine butter, next 4 ingredients, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and dash pepper; heat till bubbly.
Add steak; pour brandy over.
Flame.
When brandy has burned down, remove steak.
Add catsup and mushrooms to skillet; mix well.
Serve over steak.
