Deviled Crab Recipe
Deviled Crab! There is no other dish that pleases my husband as much as the Deviled Crab! But the credit actually goes to the brilliant recipe.
Ingredients
| 2 pounds Dungeness crabmeat, rinsed and drained | ||
| Crackers | 2 Cup (16 tbs), salted | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finley diced | |
| Onion | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Dry mustard | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Hot pepper sauce | 4 Drop | |
| Ground red pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Butter | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| 3/4 cup whipping cream, half and half or milk | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine first 4 ingredients in large mixing bowl and blend well.
Add parsley, green pepper, mustard, salt, hot pepper sauce and red pepper and mix thoroughly.
Stir in butter and cream.
Turn into shallow 3 quart casserole.
Cover and bake until bubbly, about 30 minutes.
