Deviled Eggs Recipe
This deviled eggs recipe is a peppy and savory egg recipe. Served chilled, it makes a great appetizer. Made with mashed egg yolks combined with margerine, onions, mustard and seasonings spooned into egg halves, the deviled eggs can be garnished with an olive topping.
Ingredients
12 eggs, hard boiled, peeled and sliced lengthwise
1/2 stick margarine, melted
2 Tbsp. onion, grated
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. each: pepper, celery salt and horseradish
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
5 drops Tabasco
Directions
Scoop out egg yolks and mash in large saucepan.
Stir onion and mashed egg yolks in margarine over low heat for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Spoon into halved egg whites and sprinkle with paprika.
Top with olive slices and chill thoroughly before serving.
