Devil's Cake Recipe
Devil s Cake has a fine taste. Devil s Cake gets its taste from sponge cake dressed with cream and chocolate sauce. Devil s Cake is inspired by many cafeterias around the world.
Ingredients
1 cocoa spongecake
1 chocolate chip spongecake
1 1/2 cups chocolate butter cream
1 1/2 cups chocolate
Chantilly cream
1/2 cup chocolate shavings
1/3 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups chocolate sauce
Directions
Slice each spongecake into 2 layers.
Spread 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate butter cream over first cocoa layer.
Cover with successive layers of chocolate chip spongecake, 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate butter cream, second chocolate chip spongecake, then 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate butter cream.
End with second cocoa spongecake layer.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Remove from refrigerator.
Cover top and sides of cake with chocolate Chantilly cream and chocolate shavings.
Dust with cocoa.
Pipe swirls of Chantilly cream onto cake, if desired.
Spread 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate butter cream over first cocoa layer.
Cover with successive layers of chocolate chip spongecake, 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate butter cream, second chocolate chip spongecake, then 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate butter cream.
End with second cocoa spongecake layer.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
