Denver Cheese Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine -€“ ¼ cup or Butter -€“ ¼ cup | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, minced | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 To taste, minced | |
| Eggs | 6 Small, beaten | |
| Milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Processed Swiss Cheese -€“ 6 slices | ||
| slice | 12 , buttered | |
Directions
MAKING
1. Cook onion and green pepper in melted butter for 5 minutes.
2. Mix eggs, milk, salt, and pepper to the mixture and cook, covered, on low heat until firm.
3. Spread cheese atop the mixture, cover, and cook for 5 more minutes.
SERVING
4. Cut into 6 slices, place between slices of toast, and serve with Tabasco sauce.
