Deluxe Open Faced Cheeseburgers Recipe
These Deluxe Open Faced Cheeseburgers are a desire ! Try this bread topped with avocado, meat patty, lettuce leaf, tomato slices, onion mixture and finally taco sauce ! This multilayered Deluxe Open Faced Cheeseburgers are good for a party ! Try them and let me know if you liked them.
Ingredients
1 small avocado
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons lemon juice Salt
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 medium-sized onion, sliced
1 small green pepper, cut into thin rings
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
4 slices whole-wheat bread, toasted
4 lettuce leaves
1 small tomato, sliced
Bottled taco sauce
Directions
1. In small bowl, with back of spoon, mash avocado. Stir in mayonnaise, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; set aside.
2. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook onion and green pepper until tender, stirring occasionally. Remove onion mixture to another small bowl; set aside.
3. In medium-sized bowl, mix ground beef with chili powder and 3/4 teaspoon salt. Shape beef mixture into 4 patties, each about 4 inches in diameter. In same skillet over high heat, cook patties 5 minutes for medium-rare or until of desired doneness, turning once. Top each patty with some cheese; cover skillet and cook until cheese melts, about 2 minutes. Remove skillet from heat.
4. For each serving, spread a toasted bread slice with one-fourth avocado mixture; top with meat patty, then with a lettuce leaf, and one-fourth tomato slices; spoon on one-fourth onion mixture; top with some taco sauce.
