Delicious Pecan Torte Recipe
Ingredients

| Baking powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Dark rum | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pecans | 2 Cup (32 tbs), grated | |
| Heavy cream | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Orange rind | 2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate bits | 6 Ounce | |
| Sour cream | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) |

Directions
Mix flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and baking powder; stir into egg mixture.
Add rum and pecans.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into rum mixture.
Turn into 2 well-greased waxed paper-lined 8-inch layer cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool.
Remove from pans.
Whip cream until stiff peaks form; fold in orange rind.
Spread 1 cake layer with flavored whipped cream; top with remaining layer.
Melt chocolate bits over hot water; stir in sour cream and dash of salt.
Spread on tone.
