Ingredients
Cream cheese - 8 ounces (softened, room tempt.)
Whole milk - 1/4 cup
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup, divided
Cornstarch - 1/4 cup
Egg - 3, separated
Fresh lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
Cream of tartar - 1/2 teaspoon
Boiling water - 2-3 cups (to make the water bath)
Topping (optional)
Fruit preserves - 2 tablespoons (I used apricot)
Water -1 tablespoon (or enough to make is easily spreadable)
Fresh strawberries, diced
