Delicious Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
3 med golden Delicious apples
2 med red Delicious apples
1/3 cup white grape juice
Topping
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup firm margarine
Directions
Core the apples and cut them into 1/2 in. (1.25 cm) thick slices. (Skin is left on for color.) Distribute apple slices evenly on the bottom of a well-greased 7x 11 in. (17x27 cm) baking pan.
Pour grape juice over the apple slices.
In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar replacement, cinnamon, and salt.
Cut the margarine into the flour mixture or rub with the fingers until the mixture becomes coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle evenly over the apples.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is browned and apples are tender.
