Deli Style Chicken Coleslaw Recipe
Ingredients
| Green cabbage- 2 cups, shredded | ||
| Chicken- 2 cups, diced and cooked | ||
| Red apple | 1 Cup (16 tbs), unpeeled | |
| Red grapes- 1 cup, seedless and halved | ||
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Commercial sour cream- 1/2 cup | ||
| Mayonnaise | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Honey | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper- a good dash | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients, and set it aside
2. Then combine sour cream, mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and stir it until it turns smooth
3. Pour the mixture over chicken and toss gently, also cover and chill for 1-2 hours
SERVING
4. Serve by spooning the coleslaw into a lettuce lined bowl
