Delftree Tempura Recipe
Delftree Tempura is a nice fried dish. The batter for mushrooms in this Delftree Tempura dish is simple to make and also tastes great on the mushrooms when fried. All you have to do is to mix cornstarch, flour, egg and baking powder with a bit of salt and water.
Ingredients
| Cornstarch | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Frying Oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Shiitake mushrooms | 1/4 Pound | |
Directions
Mix dry ingredients; add egg and water and mix again.
Heat 1/4 inch corn oil in skillet for frying, approximately 375°F (190°C).
Dip mushrooms in batter and fry until golden brown.
