Pancake flour
 
1 egg, beaten
 
1 bottle lemon-lime carbonated drink
 
1 lb. package frozen halibut fillets, thawed

Directions

"Mix 1 cup pancake flour and egg; add enough car- bonated drink to make thin batter.
Roll fish in dry pancake flour; let stand for 20 minutes.
Dip into batter.
Heat deep fat to 375 to 400 degrees; cook halibut in fat for 3 to 4 minutes or until brown."
