Deep-Dish Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
Tart apples - 6
Brown sugar - 1 c. (packed)
Cake flour - 1 c.
Salt - 1/4 tsp.
Nutmeg - 1/8 tsp.
Butter - 1/2 c.
Directions
MAKING
1) Pare, cut and slice the apples.
2) Arrange in a deep, greased, pie dish.
3) Blend together the brown sugar, flour, salt, and nutmeg.
4) Cut in the butter till the mix resembles coarse meal consistency.
5) Top with brown sugar mix over the apples.
6) Place in the oven and bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
SERVING
7) Top with whipped cream or ice cream and serve.
