Deep South Stuffing Recipe
Have you been swept off your feet lately?? This yummy Deep South Stuffing is sure to do so. Best enjoyed as a Side Dish this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. Dish up this Deep South Stuffing for a meal today and see it simply vanish.
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
5 cups corn bread crumbs (one 12 ounce package corn muffin mix, baked as directed)
3 cups dry bread cubes
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup milk
Directions
Cook onion and celery in butter until tender.
Combine with corn bread crumbs, bread cubes, and poultry seasoning.
Blend soup and milk; pour over bread mixture; mix lightly.
