Deep Sea Pot Pie Recipe
This Deep Sea Pot Pie makes a good Side Dish for most meals. The main ingredient in Deep Sea Pot Pie is always Seafood. I just love Side Dish recipes and this dish is my only favorite amongst them. With easily procurable ingredients this Deep Sea Pot Pie recipe is a must try.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup onions, chopped
2 cups potatoes, diced
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
8 oz scallops
8 oz lobster meat or crab meat
8 oz shrimp, shelled
1 tbsp fish spices
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup butter
5 oz canned evaporated milk
4 tsp cornstarch
1 shortcrust pastry
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In a casserole dish, pour water.
Add vegetables.
Boil 6-8 minutes.
Add seafood.
Simmer a few minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, except pie crust.
Continue cooking 5 minutes.
Cover with pie crust.
Bake in oven 30 minutes or until crust turns a nice golden brown color.
