Deep Fried Tofu Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cake (10 oz / 300 g) firm tofu, drained and cut into 4 | ||
| Potato starch | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| 2/3 cup dashi broth | ||
| Mirin | 3 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
| Soy sauce | 3 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a suitable skillet, deep fry the tofu pieces dusted with potato starch in oil at 340 Deg F until golden.
2) In a saucepan add the ingredients for the sauce, allow to boil and turn off the heat.
SERVING
3) Serve hot deep-fried tofu pieces on a dish, top with the sauce and garnish with grated daikon.
