Deep-Fried Frog Legs Recipe Video
When I was a kid growing up in Tennessee, I remember walking down to my grandparents' pond on Signal Mountain and gigging frogs during the night. Then my dad and I would cook them up. This is an easy recipe with some great flavor. I picked up the frog legs over at Eagle Island Seafood, and I know a few of the local grocery stores like Food Lion also carry them.
Ingredients

| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Buttermilk | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Hot sauce | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Panko bread crumbs | 1 Bag (1 kg) | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sea salt | 1⁄2 Tablespoon | |
| Black pepper | 1⁄2 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 1 Tablespoon |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Clean the frog legs and pat dry.
2. In a wide mouthed dish put panko flour and mix cayenne pepper, paprika, sea salt, black pepper and mix well.
3. Take a dish and pour the buttermilk into it. Add the hot sauce to it and stir to combine them.
4. In a large pan, heat oil to 375 degrees.
MAKING
5. Take the frog legs, dredge it in the flour.
6. Dip it in the buttermilk batter and finally roll it in the panko bread crumbs mix.
7. Put it the oil and fry it for 10 minutes or till they turn golden brown.
8. Place them on a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
SERVING
9. In a serving plate serve them hot with any dip or sauce.
