A classic and delicious pie which has an old-timey charm. The sweet fresh strawberries taste like cotton candy and the tart pink rhubarb is the perfect almost citrusy-sour contrast coupled with a hint of cardamom, everything encased in a buttery pastry. An excellent pie to make when strawberries and rhubarb are at their peak. Definitely one of those pies that remind you of grandma’s cooking.
