Ingredients

 Beans2 Cup (16 tbs), dried
 Carrots2
 Onions2
 Canned tomatoes1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 1 cup diced leftover meat or bacon
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Soak beans overnight and cook in boiling salted water until tender.
Drain.
Add sliced carrots, onions, tomatoes and meat.
Season with salt and pep per.
Put in greased casserole and dot with butter.
Bake until vegetables are tender, in moderate oven.
Serve with a green salad.
Makes a very economical supper dish.
