Date Sponge Pie Recipe
Ingredients
1 pkg. vanilla whipped dessert mix, prepared as directed
1 can (12oz.) date cake and pastry filling .
1 9-inch frozen pie shell, baked as directed
1/4 c chopped pecans
Directions
Beat date filling into prepared dessert mix with electric mixer.
Pour into cooled pie crust; sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Chill for 1 hour before serving.
