Date Filling Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup water
Directions
Combine all ingredients, cook over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring until thickened.
Cool slightly before filling cookies.
