Directions

Mix Date Mix and hot water.
Empty Crumb Mix into square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches.
Add cold water; stir with fork until blended.
Mi crowave uncovered until light brown, 4 1/2 to 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Stir to break up mixture.
Cool slightly.
Reserve 1/3 cup crumb mixture; press remaining mixture firmly and evenly in baking dish.
Spoon date filling onto base, spreading evenly.
Microwave uncovered 2 minutes; turn dish onequarter turn.
Microwave until set around edge, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
Microwave cream cheese uncovered in 3 cup bowl until softened, 45 seconds to 1 minute.
Beat in sugar, milk and lemon juice.
Spoon onto date filling; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
Refrigerate until firm, 2 to 3 hours.
Cut into squares.
