Directions

Mix and cook the ingredients for filling just until it is soft enough that mixture will be easy to spread on the oatmeal mixture.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add rest of the ingredients and rub together to make crumbs.
Put 2/3 of this in the bottom of greased baking dish.
Spread the date filling over this and cover with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for thirty-five to forty minutes.
