Date Muffins Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| 2 teaspoons Royal Baking Powder | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dates | 1/2 pound | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
MAKING
2. Beat in butter to a creamy mixture. Mix in flour sifted with salt and baking powder, beaten egg and milk. Add deseeded, cut dates to the mixture and stir well.
3. Transfer to greased gem pans and bake for 25 minutes.
SERVING
4. Serve warm.
TIPS
1. Sieve in ¼ cup of sugar with dry ingredients to prepare sweet muffins.
