Cut in butter until particles are the size of small peas.
Sprinkle with water and toss lightly with a fork until dough Is moist enough to hold together.
Form into a ball.
Roll out thin on floured surface, and cut in 3-inch squares.
Put a spoonful of Date Filling on each square and bring edges together to form a triangle.
Seal edges with tines of a fork, and curve slightly when placing on greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
