Date Bran Muffins Recipe
Ingredients

| Dates | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley snipped | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and beat well.
Stir in milk, bran, and dates.
Sift dry ingredients together; add to date mixture, stirring just till moistened.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake in hot oven (425°) 20 to 25 minutes.
