250 gms. toovar dal or pigeon pea dal
275 gms. sugar
2 teaspoon nutmeg and cardamom powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon carraway seeds grounded
10 gms. charoli
10 gms. raisins
15 gms. crystallized cherries (finely chopped)
6 tablespoons ghee (2 for mixing + 4 for frying)
Directions
1. Place the washed toovar dal in a pressure cooker with 2 1/2 cups of water and cook for about 15 minutes until soft. Empty
