Directions
Mix eggs, sugar, and buttermilk. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add to egg-sugar-buttermilk mixture. Add nuts and raisins. Pour into 3 well-greased loaf pans. Bake 60 minutes, or until bread tests done. Note: The fat hasn't been forgotten. This is a chewy, delicious bread with no fat in it. It slices beautifully and stays moist for sandwiches.
