Danish Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
Dark rye bread
Butter
White cheddar process cheese slices
Unskinned tomato
Pimiento stuffed olive slices
Danish black bread
Roquefort cheese wedges
Pitted black olives
Whole-wheat bread
Caraway Swiss-cheese slices
Heart of lettuce leaves
Directions
Spread rye bread slices with butter; cover with slices of Cheddar cheese.
Decorate cheese with tomato slivers and half slices and with green-olive slices.
Butter black-bread slices with 4 Roquefort-cheese wedges; top with 2 black olives on each slice.
Butter whole-wheat bread; cover with slices of caraway Swiss cheese.
Overlap a row of green olives down 2 sides of each sandwich.
Place a roll slice of Swiss cheese diagonally across each sandwich.
Garnish sandwiches with lettuce leaves and tomato slivers.
