Danish Prunes Recipe
Ingredients
| Prunes | 8 Ounce | |
| 1/4 pint sweet red wine | ||
| Water | 1/4 Pint | |
| 4 oz. Danish Blue cheese | ||
| Unsalted butter | 2 Ounce | |
| 1 teaspoon Maggi, Vesop or Tamari | ||
| Almonds | 3 Ounce, salted | |
| Few sprigs watercress | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) In a covered saucepan, pour wine and water to soak prunes.
MAKING
2) Place the saucepan over low heat to simmer and absorb all the liquid.
3) Allow the prunes to cool and stone.
4) In a bowl, add cheese, butter and Maggi to mash together.
5) Use the mixture to fill the prunes.
6) Put an almond to press inside prunes.
SERVING
7) Serve the prunes by piling on a dish. Garnish with watercress and almonds to serve.
