Ingredients

 1 medium-sized cucumber, peeled, halved, seeded, and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
 Pasta shells4 Ounce, cooked, drained
 3 pickled herring filets, cut into 1/2-inch slices
 4 scallions, white part only, coarsely chopped
 Mushrooms4 Small, thinly sliced
 Wine vinegar2 Tablespoon
 Olive oil2 Tablespoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Curry powder2 Teaspoon
 Sour cream1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

In a salad bowl, place the cucumber, pasta shells, herring, scallions and mushrooms.
Pour in the vinegar-oil-salt blend and mix well but gently.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Just before serving, blend the curry and sour cream, pour over the salad and mix well.
