Danish Fruit Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| Cornflour, 5 to 6 tablespoons | ||
| Sugar, 1/2 to 2/3 cup | ||
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Pineapple juice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Fruits, chopped, 1 1/2 cups or Mixed fruit cocktail, 1 can | ||
| Whipped cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Combine cornflour, salt and sugar in a saucepan; slowly stir in the pineapple juice.
Place the pan over moderate heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil until thick and clear (2 to 3 minutes).
Cool partially.
Add fruits and lemon juice (reserve a few good pieces of fruits to garnish).
Turn into serving bowls or a big bowl.
Chill.
When pudding is set, decorate with whipped cream and reserved fruits.
If one does not want to use whipped cream, sweetened cream can be poured on the pudding.
Chill for some time and garnish with fruits.
