Danish Dollars Recipe

Ingredients
12 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (hazelnuts preferred)
2 cups flour
Directions
Cream the butter until it is foamy.
Add the powdered sugar and mix well.
Sift together the flour and salt and add them to the bowl.
Add the chopped nuts.
The dough will be stiff.
In waxed paper form the dough into long rolls about 2 inches round.
Chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Slice the roll into thin rounds and place them on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake them at 325°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
