Danish Apple Cake Recipe
Try this easy to prepare version of Danish Apple Cake. I am sure, once you try it, you will always crave for some more!
Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup packaged biscuit mix
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon heavy cream
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
2 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Stir 1/4 cup sugar into biscuit mix.
Blend eggs and cream; stir into dry mixture with fork.
Spread soft dough on bottom of 8 inch glass cake pan that has been sprayed with vegetable oil coating.
Press apples in lightly.
Mix together sugar with spices, sprinkle over apples.
Melt butter 15 seconds.
Mix butter and vanilla.
Cook in Radarange oven 6 to 7 minutes.
Turn dish a quarter turn every 2 minutes.
Let stand a few minutes before serving.
