2 gals, of dandelion blossom petals
16 cups granulated sugar
2 gals, boiling water
2 lemons
2 limes
1 orange
2 yeast cakes
Directions
Be certain that there is no stem attached to petals before placing them into a large crock.
Pour sugar over the petals and then add boiling water.
While mixture is cooling to lukewarm, grind lemons, limes and oranges in food grinder.
Add ground fruit and yeast cakes to the lukewarm dandelion mixture.
Stir well, then cover.
Let stand for 24 hours.
Strain through cheese cloth and let liquid rest for 5 days, covered.
Strain again and let ferment.
When action dies down, bottle.
Give wine at least 6 months to properly age.
