Directions

Wash plums and cut into halves.
Add water and bring to a boil.
When plums are tender, press pulp through a sieve.
Add sugar to pulp and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
After 15 minutes spoon a little of the mixture into a plate to see if it sets.
When it does, add extract and pour into sterilized glasses.
Seal, cool, and store.
