Dal Dhokle my all time favorite.A combination of toor dal with whole wheat flour.Specially when it rains this dish tastes awesome.Try it!

1)Make a dough of whole wheat flour adding little salt and water.Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
2)Heat oil in kadhai add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,asafoetida,curry leaves,garlic and green chilly,saute for 10 minutes.
4)Add boiled dal,tamarind pulp,jaggery,red chilly powder,salt and water.Let it boil.
5)Make small ball size from dough and roll it very thin,cut with knife in diamond shaped and drop them in to dal mixture.
6)After adding all dumplings mix well,cook for 20 minutes.

7)Serve Dal Dhokle /Varanfal with chopped cucumber and ghee.
