Dairy Free Colonial Apple Custard Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk free margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Applesauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beaten eggs | 3 | |
| Salt | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1⁄2 Teaspoon |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350°F.
MAKING
2) Brush four custard cups with the margarine.
3) In a bowl, mix rest of the margarine, applesauce, vanilla extract, eggs and salt together.
4) Pour the mixture into the cups and sprinkle with the nutmeg.
5) Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
SERVING
8) Serve when the custard cools down.
