Czech Liver Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup oil
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 clove garlic, minced
rind of 1 lemon, grated
pinch of allspice, ground
1 pound calf's liver, sliced, cooked, ground
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
3 tablespoons parsley, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
Whole wheat bread crumbs
Directions
Blend all ingredients, adding enough breadcrumbs to make stiff batter.
Let batter stand for 30, minutes.
Then form into small balls.
Drop into simmering soup.
Cover pot.
Simmer, without lifting cover, for 20 minutes.
