Ingredients

 
4 cups chicken stock
 
2 cups shredded cabbage
 
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
 
1-1/2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
 
1 cup milk and/or half-and-half cream
 
Salt, black pepper and caraway seeds to taste
 
1/4 pound thin noodles, cooked al dente

Directions

Combine stock, cabbage, caraway seeds and onion, cover, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer until cabbage is soft.
Puree, reheat with milk and season with salt and pepper and more caraway seeds.
Add noodles, reheat and serve.
