Custard Pie Recipe
I am sure we both will agree that this Custard Pie is simply delicious And I am double sure that this recipe of Custard Pie makes it super delicious. I never fail to eat Dessert while dining out and this is the most common dish that I order. This Custard Pie is surely going to make you famous amongst your friends once they taste it. Ingredients
1 1/3 cups (330 ml) milk
3 eggs
2/3 cup (240 ml) sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp (2 ml) vanilla extract
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
1 pie crust, uncooked
Directions
– Preheat oven to 450 °F (230 °C).
– In a small saucepan, heat milk until warm.
– In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and salt until smooth.
– Pour warm milk over egg mixture and stir constantly. Add vanilla extract and nutmeg.
– Line a 9-inch (22-cm) pie plate with crust. Pour in filling and bake 10 minutes.
– Reduce heat to 350 °F (175 °C) and bake 35 minutes. Check after 20 minutes. If the pie appears to be browning too quickly, cover it with aluminum foil and finish the baking.
