Custard Breakfast Squares Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 10 Small | |
| Heavy cream | 1 Pint | |
| Water | 1 Pint | |
| Almond extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| package | 5 | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon |
Directions
1. Beat the eggs. Add all ingredient except the cinnamon. Blend well.
2. Pour mixture into 8x8 non-metallic baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
3. Place baking dish inside a larger baking dish of cool water. (The water should be at least 1/2 way up main baking dish. This is what makes the creamy texture.) Bake for 40 minutes. Let cool. Cut into 6 pieces. Refrigerate. Serve cold or reheat serving in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Make this dish a day in advance. It also makes a great dessert.
