Curry-Fruit Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 8 , diced | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 teaspoon bottled steak sauce | ||
| 2 envelopes instant beef broth OR 2 beef bouillon cubes | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 jar (about 4 ounces) baby-pack strained apples-and-apricots | ||
Directions
Fry bacon slowly in medium-size saucepan just until fat starts to cook out stir in chopped onion; saute just until soft.
Blend in flour, curry powder, sugar salt, and steak sauce until mixture bubbles; stir in remaining ingredients.
Heat, stirring constantly, to boiling, then simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes to thicken.
