Curry Sauce Recipe
I have a recipe which is very near and dear to my heart and that is of Curry Sauce. Curry Sauce comes from European cuisine and it is eaten as a Side Dish. This Curry Sauce recipe is sure to sweep you off your feet!
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 cups fish broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons white wine
3 tablespoons heavy cream
Directions
Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the onion and saute for 3 minutes.
Add the flour and curry powder and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Add the fish broth gradually, stirring constantly.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Simmer for 15 minutes over moderate heat, stirring occasionally.
Stir in wine.
Allow to simmer for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in cream.
Add the flour and curry powder and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
