Curry Sauce With Thyme Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Half a bay leaf | ||
| Ginger | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups light stock or bouillon | ||
Directions
Saute onion and celery in butter until tender.
Stir in parsley, thyme, bay leaf, ginger, flour and curry powder.
Add stock, stirring constantly and cook until mixture thickens.
Continue cooking over low heat for 5 minutes.
Strain.
