Curry Cheddar Grill Recipe
Ingredients
| Mayonnaise | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mango chutney | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups finely shredded cabbage | ||
| Rye bread slice | 12 | |
| Cooked ham slice | 12 | |
| 1/2 pound cheddar cheese, cut into 6 thin slices | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
Directions
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chutney, curry powder and salt; stir in cabbage.
On six slices of bread, layer two slices of ham, one slice of cheese and 1/4 cup cabbage mixture; top with remaining bread.
Butter outsides of each sandwich.
In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches on both sides until lightly browned.
