Curried Lima Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| Lima beans package | 2 , frozen | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Curry powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup cracker crumbs | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 4 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
Cook beans according to package directions; drain thoroughly and turn into greased casserole.
Saute onion in butter or margarine just until limp Add flour and curry powder, stirring until smooth.
Gradually add milk; stir until thickened.
Pour sauce over beans; mix gently to coat beans.
Toss cracker crumbs with melted butter or margarine; sprinkle over top of beans.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
