Curried Lamb Recipe
Now you can make great Curried Lamb by following this recipe. I just love Side Dish recipes and this dish is my only favorite amongst them. Have faith in me and try this Curried Lamb.
Ingredients
Vegetable oil
2 pounds front of lamb, cut into bite sized pieces
2 large onions, sliced
1 cup carrot, grated
1 cup washed raisins
2 tablespoons curry powder
Salt and papper to taste
2 tablespoons chutney
1 cup tomatoes
2 cups water
3 tablespoons flour
Directions
In a skillet, brown pieces of lamb in vegetable oil.
Transfer to a stewing pot.
Place onions, carrots, raisins in the skillet.
Stir in curry powder, salt and pepper; brown together, stirring constantly.
Add chutney; gradually stir in tomatoes.
Pour this mixture over the lamb, adding 2 cups of water.
Thicken with flour.
Skim off any excess fat.
This lamb dish is all the better if made the day before.
