Directions

FOR CURRIED BEANS
MAKING
1. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté mustard, dry red chilies, cumin, fenugreek, cinnamon and thyme seeds.
2. Add beans and stir well.
3. Season with coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt.
4. Stir occasionally and cook for 5 minutes until the beans are tender.

SERVING
5. Serve the Curried Beans with roti or noodles and salad

FOR CANNED BEANS
MAKING
1. In a bowl, combine canned pinto beans, tomato sauce and tomato paste.

SERVING
2. Serve the Canned Curried Beans as a topping for burger patties.

FOR CURRIED COOKED RICE
MAKING
1. In a skillet, heat oil. Add fenugreek, mustard, cumin, dry red chilies and sauté well.
2. Add onion, cooked rice, cabbage, green onion, cilantro, carrot and salt.
3. Keep stirring and cook for a few minutes.

SERVING
4. Serve the Curried Cooked Rice with salad and enjoy!
