I used to stop at this bagel joint down the street from my house in Dallas almost every morning. I was very limited in what I would get - curried egg salad with lettuce on a sesame bagel was one of the few.

I love curried egg salad or fresh shrimp curried salad on sour dough sliced bread. It isn't so heavy and the sour dough bread is a great taste compliment to curry-sort of like tamarind is in curry or lime juice.

Tell Cliff I said thanks for making such a great product... He is to the bagel world what Tumaro's is to the wrap / tortilla / bread substitute world! :) Nikko

These are Ray's New York Bagels. They are made by Just Bagels! For a frozen bagel they are amazingly good - come out of the toaster nice and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside! :) Nikko

Did you use a Just Bagel from Just Bagels in the Bronx ? The Tortilla Guy

As many as I can! I love bagels... The squishing is a slight problem but this isn't really something you want to be eating in the car!

ChefDonG says :

Just how many recipes are you going to do with bagels? lol I like egg salad but I find it to squish out the sides too much with something as crunchy as a bagel.
